Live at the Wolf – an Intimate Concert Series

Join us every Friday evening for an intimate concert in our upstairs space. We will introduce you to local musical talent, and you’ll get to see and hear them up close.
Hosted by Raphael Anthony, the concerts will offer a glimpse into the vibrant musical community of Long Beach, and will give our local artists a space to perform in front of a live audience, connect with new fans, and premiere new material.
Friday, February 2 – Lucy Morningstar
Lucy Morningstar is a passionate musician who blends Island Reggae, Folk, and Ska in her original songs. She left New York to explore California and the country, performing out of a van. Her soulful reggae music is fun, catchy, and joyful, and her lyrics tell stories of life’s challenges and triumphs. She is also a multi-instrumentalist and a producer, with a distinctive sound that attracts many fans. She loves to perform live with her band, who share her vision and energy. 🎶 Live at the Wolf is a music show where you can enjoy the tunes and tales of BuhDihKuh, a folk punk acoustic comedian with a taste for destruction. 🎶 Hosted by Raphael Anthony, this show will feature BuhDihKuh’s songs from his latest album, “Welcome To The Show”, as well as some of his older hits. You will also get to hear BuhDihKuh’s stories about his life, his inspirations, and his adventures on the road. Groove to the pop tunes of The Modes, a band led by the talented singer and songwriter Aziza Gomez. Hosted by Raphael Anthony, this show will feature The Modes’ songs from their first single “Crashin”, as well as some of their new tracks. You will also get to hear Aziza’s stories about her musical journey, her influences, and her involvement in the community. Aziza is a graduate of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music and a former scholarship recipient of the Berklee School of Music1. She is also a part of the Reaching Youth Through Music Opportunities (RYTMO) program, which offers music education to underserved youth2.
