$15 – $45Repeal Day – The Wicked Wolf Turns Into a Speakeasy
To celebrate the day Prohibition was repealed, December 5, 1933, we’re throwing a big speakeasy party. You’ll have to know the secret knock and signal to get in. Once in, the best party in town awaits, with live music, dancing, food, and even a speakeasy within a speakeasy. Inside, you will find Axiom Kitchen selling their famous BBQ, potato salad and fixin’s (available for pre-order). DJ Little Red will entertain us 5:00-8:00, and a live swing band plays 8:00-11:00 downstairs. The upstairs terrace will be open for further frolicking.
Speakeasy Tickets:
$15 pays for your entry and one welcome punch, plus access to the rooftop terrace, and the live entertainment in the lounge. Bring your dance shoes.
Speakeasy-within-Speakeasy Tickets:
$45 for all of the above, plus a seat for a unique experience in the upstairs Den, including a tasting of four allocated, sought-after bourbon experiences, a free charcuterie board, and a mentalist private show. The elevated tasting experience has two seatings: 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
Food:
Axiom Kitchen & BBQ Meats will be stationed upstairs, ready to take care of your empty tummy. You’re welcome to pre-order your delicious dinner here, or come prepared to purchase on site.
Period attire highly recommended!
This is definitely a dress-up event. Bring you flapper dress, your top hat, the feathers, the pearls, the gloves, the works!
Ellen Warkentine, one of Long Beach’s most beloved musicians, is bringing The Amusement Company Band, and will lead you into swing dancing all night.
