Women Who Whiskey & Puncher’s Chance Tasting and Cocktails

This spooky season, Women Who Whiskey LBC is transforming into Witches Who Whiskey! [Insert cackle] You’re invited to join our coven as we share a special brew and ponder the dark magicks of distillation, secrets that would reduce most mortals to gibbering, animalistic heaps of madness. (Don’t worry, you’re totally cool, though.)

We’ll be gathering around the cauldron at The Wicked Wolf in the ancient berg of Wrigley in order to sample 4 different drams of Puncher’s Chance bourbon, crafted from the finest eye of ne… um… grains. Definitely grains. We’ll be tasting through the full lineup from this recent acolyte to the dark arts, including:

• The Undisputed single barrel Kentucky bourbon, distilled with the purest virgins’ bloo… I mean… water. Yes. Water.
• The D12TANCE 12-year Tennessee straight bourbon, awakened from its chthonic, dreamless slumber after countless aeons. Or 12 years. I think it’s 12 years, actually.
• The Left Cross, a 14-year-old bourbon that’s been finished in barrels that previously held the finest frogs’ brea… ummmm, no, I mean, uh, rum. It’s rum. The finest rum! No frogs.

In addition to the whiskey lineup, you’ll get alchemical creations wrought using forbidden sorceries (cocktails) and the milk and flesh of the damned (a cheese and charcuterie plate)! Plus the saying of sooth and the mystic arts of divination! It’ll be a hoot! (That’s an animal familiar pun.)
