Repeal Day – The Wicked Wolf Turns Into a Speakeasy
December 5 @ 5:00 pm - 11:30 pm
$15 – $45Repeal Day – The Wicked Wolf Turns Into a Speakeasy
To celebrate the day Prohibition was repealed, December 5, 1933, we’re throwing a big speakeasy party. You’ll have to know the secret knock and signal to get in. Once in, the best party in town awaits, with live music, dancing, food, and even a speakeasy within a speakeasy. Inside, you will find Axiom Kitchen selling their famous BBQ, potato salad and fixin’s (available for pre-order). DJ Little Red will entertain us 5:00-8:00, and a live swing band plays 8:00-11:00 downstairs. The upstairs terrace will be open for further frolicking.
Speakeasy Tickets:
$15 pays for your entry and one welcome punch, plus access to the rooftop terrace, and the live entertainment in the lounge.
Bring your dance shoes.
ONLINE TICKET SALES END ON THURSDAY, DEC 5, AT 3:00PM.
TICKETS AT THE DOOR WILL BE $20.
Speakeasy-within-Speakeasy Tickets:
$45 for all of the above, plus a seat for a unique experience in the upstairs Den, including a tasting of four allocated, sought-after bourbon experiences, a free charcuterie board, and a mentalist private show. The elevated tasting experience has two seatings: 7:00pm and 9:00pm.
Tickets Q & A:
Q: If I buy tickets for [x] o’clock, do I have to be on time?
A: You’re fine to arrive any time within a 90 minute time frame. Just be aware that, if we’re sold out, we may need to limit service after that 90 minutes, to keep our space safe for fire codes.
Q: Are you saying you’re going to kick us out after 90 minutes?
A: Kinda. We just might not be able to serve you if the place gets too crowded, so we recommend arriving as close to your ticket time as possible, for maximum enjoyment.
Q: What do I get for my general entry price?
A: You get a Welcome Punch, a whiskey tasting, enjoyment of the DJ music or live band, access to downstairs lounge and upstairs terrace, a roaming magician, the dance floor!
Q: When will I get my secret code for getting in?
A: Look for an email from The Wicked Wolf on Thursday at 3:00PM.
Q: What’s the parking situation?
A: There’s plenty of free street parking, though you might have to walk a block or two. We recommend carpooling, or taking a car service, so you don’t have to worry about enjoying all that Prohibition goodness!
Q: Am I going to be the only one dressed to the nines?
A: Absolutely not. While we won’t shun you if you don’t have feathers and gloves, we do encourage everyone to have a little fun with their outfit. We’re traveling back in time, after all!
Q: I have more questions. Can I talk to a human about all this?
A: Sure. Call/text 562-542-2992.
Food:
Axiom Kitchen & BBQ Meats will be stationed outside, ready to take care of your empty tummy.
We recommend you pre-order your delicious dinner here.
Our resident Ms. DJ Little Red will play from 5:00-8:00. Watch out, she’s a fiery one!
